Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before booking a tour with Kría Adventures. These terms and conditions outline the rights and obligations of both Kría Adventures and the customer.
 

1. Definitions

   1. "Customer," "you," or "participant" refers to the individual or group booking and participating in our tours.
       

2. Booking and Payment

   1. All tour bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

   2. To secure a booking, full payment or a 20% deposit is required. Payment details and deadlines will be provided at the time of booking.

      1. Full payment must be received 60 days prior to the start of your trip.

      2. If you book less than 60 days before the start of your trip, a full payment is required at the time of booking.

   3. Payments can be made through authorized payment methods specified by Kría Adventures, such as credit/debit cards or wire transfer.

   4. Failure to make payment within the specified timeframe may result in the cancellation of your booking.

   5. Please note that all prices for the services provided by Kría Adventures are in the company’s local currency, Icelandic Krona (ISK). As a local operator, Kría Adventures cannot be responsible for currency fluctuations and or additional fees outside its control that may be applied such as bank transfer fees, credit card fees and etc.
       

3. Cancellation and Refunds

   1. If you wish to cancel your tour booking, you must notify us in writing or by email. The cancellation becomes effective from the date of receipt of your written notification.

   2. The following cancellation charges may apply:

      1. More than 60 days prior to the tour: 20% cancellation fee

      2. 15 to 60 days prior to the tour: 50% cancellation fee

      3. 14 days or less prior to the tour: No refund

   3. Refunds, if applicable, will be made using the same payment method used for the initial booking.

   4. In the event that we need to cancel a tour, due to unforeseen circumstances on our behalf or insufficient bookings, a full refund will be provided. We are not liable for any additional expenses incurred by the customer due to the cancellation.
       

4. Changes to booking

   1. Requests for changes to a confirmed booking, including changes to tour dates, number of participants, or any other significant modifications, must be submitted to Kría Adventures in writing or by email.

   2. Kría Adventures will make reasonable efforts to accommodate change requests, subject to availability and any applicable fees or charges.

   3. Kría Adventures reserves the right to deny change requests that cannot be reasonably accommodated.
       

5. Tour Itinerary and Modifications

   1. Our tour itineraries are subject to change due to weather conditions, road closures, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements or reschedule the tour.

   2. Kría Adventures reserves the right to modify the itinerary, including but not limited to changes in transportation, accommodation, and activities, without prior notice.

   3. We are not liable for any additional costs or expenses incurred by the customer as a result of itinerary modifications, including missed flights or other transportation connections.
       

6. Weather Conditions

   1. Weather conditions in Iceland can be unpredictable and may affect the feasibility and safety of certain tour activities.

   2. Kría Adventures reserves the right to modify or cancel the tour itinerary, or specific activities within the itinerary, due to adverse weather conditions that pose a risk to the participants' safety.

   3. The final decision regarding itinerary modifications or cancellations due to weather conditions rests with Kría Adventures.

   4. In the event of a tour cancellation or significant modifications due to weather conditions, Kría Adventures will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements or reschedule the tour, subject to availability.

   5. If alternative arrangements or rescheduling are not possible, a refund for the affected portion of the tour will be provided.

   6. Kría Adventures is not responsible for any additional costs or expenses incurred by the customer as a result of itinerary modifications or cancellations due to weather conditions, including but not limited to accommodation, transportation, or meals.

   7. Kría Adventures is not responsible for any loss, damage, accident, injury, sickness, schedule change or other factors due to weather, strike, natural disasters or any other cause beyond Kría Adventures’ control.
       

7. Health and Safety

   1. Participants are responsible for assessing their physical and mental fitness to participate in the tour activities. It is recommended to consult a medical professional before booking.

   2. Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by Kría Adventures and its guides. Failure to comply may result in exclusion from the tour without refund.

   3. Participants are responsible for their personal belongings during the tour. Kría Adventures is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
       

8. Liability

   1. Kría Adventures will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing tour services. However, we are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or death that may occur during the tour, except where caused by our negligence.

   2. Participants are advised to obtain adequate travel insurance to cover any potential risks and losses.

   3. Kría Adventures is not responsible for any delays, cancellations, or changes in services provided by third-party providers, such as airlines, accommodations, or transportation services.
       

9. Privacy and Data Protection

   1. Kría Adventures will handle customer data in accordance with applicable privacy laws and our privacy policy.

   2. By booking a tour, you consent to the collection, storage, and use of your personal information for the purposes of providing the tour services and communicating with you.
       

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
